Isle of the Misfit Cookies

I try to make memories with my boys. One of those memories is baking Christmas cookies.  This is hazardous to my health, both from a stress standpoint and from a cookie standpoint.  I LOVE CHRISTMAS COOKIES.  Specifically sugar cookies.

Caden received a cookie cutter on Wednesday at his Christmas party at school.  He has been asking me, every hour since, to make cookies.  We were going to do it on Thu, but I didn't have any eggs.  We ran out of time on Fri and I had so much to do around the house, it wasn't until rest time, that I finally had a moment.  I made the cookie dough and put it in the fridge to harden.  The boys helped me roll the dough and cut the cookies.  The fun began when we started decorating.  What is a little glitter when you can use an entire container?  If a few sprinkles are good, a lot of sprinkles are better....or at least that is the boys idea of decorating.

Enjoy the pictures.  They tell the story.
