Painting Day

Mommy cleans up after little boys all day long.  So the last thing she wants to do is CREATE a mess.  That being said, my little guys are getting bored as summer rolls on and I needed a distraction.  Friday was painting day.  The boys made an elaborate production of finding their painting shirts.  Daddy's old t-shirts were not good enough.  Once they were all suited up, the fun began.  It lasted an entire 15 minutes until all the colors were mixed, the paintings completed and the boys were ready to move on to their next activity.  It took longer to get the paint out, find the shirts and mix the colors than the actual painting lasted.  On these days I envy a friend who posted how her daughter painted for 2 hours.  I guess there is a difference between girls and boys.  Here is my photo recap.  They boys had fun and mommy had 15 minutes of peace.  Life is good.
