Mason update

Mason has grown leaps and bounds this summer.  His vocabulary exploded and we have a ton more insight on who this little boy will be. 

Funny things he has said:

David is having a serious conversation with Logan and Mason comes up singing "Kill the wabbit, Kill the wabbit"

Mason said this morning. "mommy, you so cool". I like your shoes. I like your dress. I like your necklace" I guess I need to wear dresses more often! (Chapel day at school) ("too cool and so cool" come from Joe on Blues Clues)

He started preschool and cries when I drop him off.  It breaks my heart, but I know he has a blast 5 minutes after I leave.  He is always happy when I pick him up and talks excitedly about school.  It is the separation that kills him and me.

The above picture was taken on Sunday at Five Guys.  We are happy to report that Mason will now eat all kinds of french fries.  While this is an improvement, it is the only change from where he was at the end of June.  That being said, we will begin therapy again on Friday.  We are meeting with a therapist that specializes in oral aversion and has worked at one of the best facilities, Kennedy Krieger Institute, for feeding disorders.  Hopefully she will have some insight into his special needs.  Please pray that our budget can afford this treatment and that we will see success.  I joked that he would not be in Kindergarten and still be fed by his mommy...that thought is getting a little closer to reality and it is scary
