Chores

There are days when you smile and say "That's my boy" and there are days when you look over your shoulder to make sure no one saw him.  I know you want a story about the latter, but today I am going to brag on my son.

Several weeks ago, Logan asked for chores. No, he will never live this down and will be reminded of it for years to come.  So, mommy googled chores for kids and came up with a list.  Yes, I google everything.  They are pretty basic, set the table, clear the dishes, load the dishwasher and empty the trash cans on Monday.  Most of these he does with prompting, but little problem.

There is one chore where he seems to excel...trash...unless it stinks, which is a story for another day.   Today he created a trash truck and brought all the cans into the kitchen at once.  He had fun while doing chores.  It was a good moment in our day.
