Car Conversations

I always love our car conversations.  They give me a window into the thoughts of my boys.  This is a conversation between Mason and me after school yesterday.  In recounting the story to David in the car, Logan shouted....that is a Krazy Kerstiens post....

Mason:  Mommy, when I am 10,000 years old will I get married?
Mommy:  Yes, I hope so.
Mason:  I know who I am going to marry.
Mommy:  (smirking and waiting to hear some girl's name from his new kindergarten class or from last years TK class)...
Mason:  Yes, her name starts with a "M"
Mommy:  (searching the names of his new classmates)
Mason:  Her name is Mary.  I am going to marry you mommy.
Mommy:  (missed that one, chuckling)  Honey, I am married to daddy.  You can't marry me. You will have to marry  a someone else.
Mason:  Will you help me buy a ring?
Mommy:  No, you need to get a job and buy your own ring.  What kind of job do you think you would want.
Mason:  I want to check out Legos (lego cashier).

I love his life ambition.  He is going to live with us until he is 10,000,  wants to marry his mommy and work at the Lego store.  Life is good when you are six years old and the important things to him are me and Legos.  I know they cannot stay little forever, so these moments I record and cherish.
