Quick Mason Update

Merry Christmas everyone,

Just a quick update and prayer requests.

We have the results from our endocrine and genetic testing and all results are normal.  This is a praise that Mason's challenges are not caused by a genetic condition.

In addition, Mason had academic and psychological testing.  Those results were a little more discouraging.  Since he has such a large number and variety of issues he falls in the Highly Functioning Autism or Aspergers Spectrum. Finding resources that are covered by our insurance is difficult and therapy for 500/month is not in our budget. Please pray that doors will open that are covered by our insurance.

Finally, we met with a Gastroenterologist and they have approved Mason for the G-Tube procedure.  Our appointment with the surgeon is not until after Christmas.  Please pray that the surgery can be completed before the end of the year.  This would give us time to acclimate before school starts.  We have met our deductible, so financially it would help us tremendously. Finally, Mary would not have to take time off from school for the procedure.
