Technology is both terrifying and amazing at the same time. Did you know the hospital keeps a sample of your tumor for 15 years, just in case there’s a medical breakthrough or—even better—someday a cure? I found this fascinating.

One of the cutting-edge tests is called Signatera. They take a sample of the DNA from your specific cancer and then test your blood for traces of that DNA circulating in your system.

I’m celebrating because I had zero detection! I can honestly say I am cancer-free!
