Update on the "K" family
I hope everyone is doing well this week. Here is a quick update on us:
David returned from his men's retreat rested and sun burnt. He is taking a few days off to do some stuff around the house. A man's work is never done. He has volunteered to help with Field Day at school on Friday. He is a good daddy.
Mary is running around like a crazy woman as usual. To the point that she tripped over a doggie gate at work while carrying her hot steaming lunch. After hitting head, burning her arm and a big bruise on her knee...she is great! She would post pictures of her MRI, but they are still under review...JUST KIDDING!!!
Logan lost is first tooth on Saturday. He was very excited to receive $5 from the tooth fairy. He still struggles to get up in the morning but is doing great is school.
Caden has had a great couple of weeks at school. He received his sticker the last two weeks and he and Logan still love Legos!!! He has two cavities, but they want to put him to sleep to fill them...which costs 1000...with insurance. Not sure how we are going to proceed with this one. After puking for hours after the Valium they gave him last time, we are not anxious to put repeat the experience.
Mason has done very well with potty training. We have some hiccups with pooping, but that has happened with all our kids. He had the upper endoscopy last week. The doctors found very mild reflux, but nothing that would impact his eating. We are still waiting to hear back about the allergy testing. That appt will be next Wednesday. The OT also asked for a swallowing study.
Mason has been in rare form this week. The highlights...Saturday he dumped an entire bottle of finger nail polish remover in the toilet. Sunday he decorated Grammy's porch with dirt from her potted plants. On Monday he gave mommy a gift for Mother's day. It was a pen flower in a terracotta pot with coffee beans. We found him on the sofa, with the coffee bean spread out (he was counting them) and he had used the pen to write all over our sofa. On Tue he pooped in the kitchen floor. TTL he is in bed with no mishaps today.
Finally, we took Grammy home on Sunday. We were sad to see her go and miss her greatly.
