Bootcamp, Dentists, Circuses and Doctors...oh my!

What a busy week in the "K" household...hold onto you hat as we take a whirl wind tour.

First...a special thanks to Aunt Veronika and Grammy who watched to boys for David and I to get away for a few days last week.  Eat, sleep, shop, repeat, it was wonderful, though it went by too quickly.

Secondly, Veronika and Grammy put Mason in bootcamp while we were gone.  He now feeds himself baby food.  He hasn't started any new foods, but it is a step in the right direction.  We have a meeting with a behavioral therapist this week.  Please pray for this meeting that they will give us some insight.

Monday...quiet day...carpool, work, chiropractor, work, dinner, homework, bedtime

Tuesday...mommy forgot until late Mon that the boys had a dentist appt.   Usually taking the boys to the dentist involves screaming, biting hygienists, etc.  Mommy begged daddy to go and he complied...thank you daddy!!!   After getting a little lost, we finally found their office.  We were met by friendly faces who promptly whisked our boys off to the unknown.   A little while later we were welcomed back to see 3 smiling faces...AMAZING!  The boys did very well and Mason did great!!!  Here is a picture of their pearly whites.

From there we rushed off to school, work, school pickups.  That afternoon , my cell phone died, so I had to return it and get a new one...finally bible study.

Wednesday....Work, school, work,  home.

Thursday... Carpool, pick up stuff for Caden's circus costume, drop off thing 3, work, pick up thing 2, thing 3, make costume, work, chiropractor, home, meeting.

Friday...School, work, errands, grocery shopping, teacher luncheon, TK circus, pediatrician, eye doctor, pick up RX, dinner, movie night and CRASH...I am out!

The TK circus was AWESOME.  The kids have been working on their gross motor skills which concluded with attending the circus as a family and a circus performance by the entire class.  Caden was the bear trainer.  At the last minute I made his costume with duct tape.  I am not crafty, but this turned out pretty good.

The bear trainer had a nasty cough, so we took him to the pediatrician.  He has a sinus infection and was given antibiotics.  Logan has the same cough, so I am sure we will be visiting again.  I didn't want to take him to the doctor with so many viruses going around (including norovirus), but he has been coughing for weeks.

Next we took Grammy to a followup appt for her cataract surgery.  She is doing amazing!  Even better than expected.  Her vision is 20/20 in her left eye and 20/25 in the right.  She will only need glasses for reading.  God is good.

Finally, we have an announcement....Grammy has graciously agreed to come live with us.  It is a win/win situation.  Please pray for us as we move her stuff and make the transition.  She will grieve for her church and her little house.

Hugs and Kisses from the "K" family
