Last Summer Hoorah...day 1

The Kerstiens’ family was restless…an entire summer without a visit to the beach. (Logan and Caden went with their grandparents, but had to leave due to bad behavior).  Mommy’s favorite is Myrtle Beach.  Our trip was very last minute, kind of a last summer hoorah.  Mommy scrambled to find an affordable hotel that had pools for the kids.  Thankfully a friend made a suggestion of Dayton House and we got the last room!

The boys were off from school on Friday, so off we went minus Daddy.  He was on call that weekend and looking forward to the Clemson vs. Florida State game.  It was a perfect time for the rest of us to get out of town.

After an uneventful drive down, we reached our hotel, quickly checked in and headed to the pool.  Our hotel room was perfect.  It had a kitchenette AND a sofa for Mason to sleep on.   The first pool we visited was our favorite. It had a gradual entry on one side and 3 feet depth in the middle.  We could have all the boys in one pool which is a blessing for Grammy and me.  They also had snow cones and adult beverages for reasonable prices which made everyone happy.

After a couple of hour of play it was time to go back to our room and eat dinner.  Mommy made hamburgers in the microwave :), apples and carrots.  After watching a little TV we all went to sleep at 9 PM.
The next morning we were up early the ocean from our ocean view room...remember I said last room :)
